1/48 JU-88 C-6 part 2

Ok so last time I was up to the decals.  After a couple of gloss coats the decals were added all working very well and no problems.


With the decals on it was time for the best stage... weathering! For this i wanted to try something new, using Tamiya smoke on the panel lines as a kind of post shade.  To do this I thinned the Tamiya smoke about 50:50 with water and sprayed the panel lines and here was the result....


With a matte coat the effect is very subtle but as i have found out on another model it is very easy to overdo it  and it does not work as well on darker colours in my opinion.  With that done all the little pieces were added and painted....
