As soon as Airfix released this kit I knew I had to build one or two, or three. I started this kit a while ago and it has been siting on the shelf of doom for far too long. A sudden burst of enthusiasm I have had for modelling over the last few weeks was all that was required for the Lynx to be finished. The model has been finished using Humbrol acrylics, which are performing very well. I decided early on that the model would have everything folded and the big .50 machine gun added and nothing else. I also wanted it to be dirty and well used, although in reality these helicopters are very clean. I added chipping using some wire wool and Tamiya Dark Iron and a lightened version of the main colour.
